Kent Hehr is Nominated

On Tuesday, August 2 at the Kerby Centre in Downtown West, Kent Hehr was nominated as our Alberta Liberal Party candidate for the next election. We’re going to continue on with our efforts to ensure Kent remains our voice and representative in the Le

gislature. That means more doorknocking, more events, and more fundraising.

To get involved, contacting Calgary Buffalo Director, Matt Grant at magrnt@gmail.com.

Kent tells me he was excited to be nominated as the Alberta Liberal candidate this summer for a variety of reasons. This will actually be his second time running as the Alberta Liberal candidate in Calgary Buffalo. He was first elected MLA for Calgary Buffalo in 2008, and he loves it. He gets to help a lot of people in his office every day. He gets to speak up about issues that are important to Albertans and he feels strongly about (especially education). He gets to meet people from all over Calgary and Alberta. He hopes to be re-elected in the election that’s coming up so he continue to help people, and stand up for the issues that are important to them.

      Thanks for writing, Micah!
